I'm a 28 year old working mother.  I used to write a lot when I was in high school, but I took an extended break afterwards to deal with real life.  I also used to play a lot of video games.  When I put the games aside at the beginning of the summer (2008), I decided it was time to try my hand at writing again.

I'm a little bit picky when it comes to what I write and what I read.  I prefer action over romance and my writing reflects that preference.  Very rarely will I read a romantic story and my attempts to write one have failed miserably.  I'm also slightly obsessed with my original characters.  Just about everything I write includes them (hence my "Visitation Series").

I've always had a fascination with the vampire genre and have tried to catch every series that airs on Television.  "Moonlight" and "Blood Ties" are among my favories.

Aside from vampires, I have to admit that I still love cartoons.  Saturday mornings are a fun time in my house because my daughter and I will sit down and watch the morning cartoon lineup and then Friday night's episode of Ben 10: Alien Force (which I DVR every week).

In addition to fanfiction, I'm currently working on a full-length novel that chronicles the history of my characters Lothan and Lalasa Konistav.

Summary:

The fourth installment in the series is actually a stand-alone. There might be vauge references to the other stories in the series, but you would be able to understand this one just as easily without reading the first three.


Set in the Ben 10: Alien Force universe, this story begins with Ben, Gwen, and Kevin investigating a fierce battle in the middle of the night between a Highbreed and a pair of strangers. While the couple appears to be human, they seem to have little trouble defeating the alien, causing the teens to realize that they might not be what they seem. As if that wasn't complicated enough for them, Kevin has trouble remembering the night in question leaving the teenagers to wonder how far they can trust the couple.

Summary:

The third installment in the Visitation series, Lalasa and Lothan Konistav are tracking a demon that had been banished from their homeland eight hundred years ago.  After discovering that it has taken refuge in Toronto, they have arranged for a temporary residence in the city.  As it had worked well in the past, they seek the aid of a local private investigator, but receive a less than warm welcome from what seems to be the only vampire in the city.  This is a cross over between my original characters and Blood Ties.  I'm not sure how often I'll be able to update this because it's a secondary project for me right now.  I'll keep on top of it as best as I can though.

Due to other projects, this story is "on hiatus" until further notice.  I'm not abandoning it all together, but there has been more interest in my other in-progress fic so I will be completing that one before returning to this one.  I apologize to those who have been following this story and I will get back to it when time permits.
